About Us

Rick Baker was born in Atlanta, Georgia. Rick's first job was for his parents restaurant Sonic Drive-In, and was a roller skating car hop at age thirteen. Working at such an early age taught Rick the values of good customer satisfaction!

After high school, Rick moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas. He attended the university for a short time, and then Rick went to work for Skyways Airline. Rick made the transition to Wichita in 1986 as a flight controller for Air Midwest Airlines. Rick has always loved aviation.

Rick started his real estate career in 1990. He has been with Plaza Real Estate since
1992. His sales average is the top 2% of all real estate agents in Wichita, Kansas every year.
85% of Rick's business is past client referral. It is important to put the needs of clients above his own.

Rick Baker enjoys helping people buy and sell their homes plus is notorious for taking the
time to listen and make sure you find the "right" home for your family.

His hobbies include spending time with his family, golfing, going to the zoo with the family and spending time reading the Bible. He is a member of Westlink Christian Church. Rick and his wife started a Sunday school class and is also involved in the men's bible study class which he leads on Monday evenings. Rick's faith is a large part of his daily life.
